On December 20th, many from our Tri-CRI community gathered to celebrate and recognize Sr. Pat Daly, OP for her 24 years of leadership as Executive Director of the Tri-State Coalition. Sister Pat served as Director Emeritus for a year before ending her work with the coalition at the end of 2017.

During the celebration, CRI members, current and former staff, Leadership from Sisters of St. Dominic of Caldwell, colleagues from ICCR and beyond, were invited to share memories of working with Sr. Pat and the Coalition on investor initiatives throughout the years. Many people spoke about how Pat was an inspiration for them to deepen their commitment to socially responsible investing and how Pat welcomed them into the work, supporting them as a mentor and friend. Members thanked Sister Pat for her leadership, determination, and persistence, and recognized her for the important impact her work has had on strengthening corporate social responsibility, reflecting on engagements with General Electric, Ford Motor Company, and ExxonMobil.

Tri-CRI Executive Committee members Toni Palamar, of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, and George Schmitz, of the Brothers of the Holy Cross, presented Sr. Pat with an award in recognition of her contributions to the Coalition and the field of socially responsible investing to advance justice for the Earth and her peoples.

We thank Sister Pat for her enduring leadership and work, and are glad that she will remain an active member of the Tri-State CRI representing the Sisters of St. Dominic of Caldwell, NJ.
