I was born and raised in the Bronx, attending St Helena Grade School and High School.  I entered the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill in September, 1964. After graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a BS is Education and Math, I began teaching in elementary school and high school, including New Hope Manor, a program for young women with addictions. At New Hope I ran the school program. I received an MS in Math Education and an MBA in Church Administration. In 1980 I was elected to our Leadership Team and served as Treasurer of the Congregation for 8 years. During that time, I attended TRI-CRI meetings and was privileged to be one of the founding members and first treasurer of the Leviticus Fund. I was also the chair of the Conference of Religious Treasurers in New York State.  In 1988, I went to Pakistan, where our sisters have ministered since 1958. I taught Math there, supervised teachers and did some pastoral work. When I returned home in 1994, I became the Business Manager of Aquinas High School in the Bronx. For the past 18 years I have been the Coordinator of Resident Care in our health care community in Sparkill.

My various ministry experiences have been tremendous blessings in my life. I am sure my time with IASJ will be another blessing.
